Location of water pump in Jayco Swift 287BHBE

We're newbies but don't want to spend $$$ to winterize and I've been assured that I can do it myself. Problem is, I can't locate the water pump. Is it hidden somewhere? I can sure hear it but I've pulled out drawers and looked under seats and storage spaces. Thanks.

did you unscrew some storage places? Likely beside your HW heater where you will need to open your bypass valves

Mine is under my dinette but the plywood is screwed down....remove the screws and voila.....bring a vacuum..you will want to suck up all the construction debris as well

If you can hear it, then you should be able to find it. Let the water run so the pump will continue running, that way you should be able to locate it.

I have the 28BHBE (the Jay Flight cousin to your trailer) and mine is under the sink. Pretty easy to access. If it is back by the water heater, you can access that from the bottom bunk. Take the mattress out, and there should be a flip-up panel for access to the WH (look for a finger hole, this is how you'll access your winterizing bypass valves), if the pump is back there, that's how you'll get to it.

I doubt it's back under the bunk though, because it should be as close to the fresh water tanks as possible, which should be just fore of the front axle on the curb-side of the unit.

If you watch this video and fast forward to about 4:50, the salesman opens the cabinet under the sink. In the back of the cabinet you'll see a panel, your pump should be behind that panel.

Being that it's a Swift, I'm not sure I would count on it having a "winterizing" kit to pump in the anti-freeze, but you never know...
