Lock Issue

So I only had one key for the trailer and the locks on the outside shower and storage door. I know I should have had a spare set cut but never seemed to remember. Anyway the key snapped on the outside storage door, I managed to get the broken part out of the lock. Anyone had this happen before?

Do I have to remove the old locks and put in new ones? Or I have a number on the key, can I order a new one online? I took it and the trailer key to the hardware store and they said they do not have the blanks to cut them.

If I have to remove the locks, the storage door is easy enough from the inside, but the shower door will not be...............best option just to drill it out?

It's a 751 key. Any of your neighbors can walk up, insert their storage compartment (751) key and open up your storage area.

Just replace the Cam locks with a non 751 keyed lock. I got new ones at a local locksmith shop for ~$3 per lock, they are easy to find maybe even at the big box stores.

I bought combination locks at our RV dealer. You can set your own combination. Check out at the link below
