Locking kitchen cabinet

While taking my 27DSRL in for service I was going across a rough stretch of interstate. At my service appointment my advisor told me my kitchen cabinet had come open and I lost a plastic mug. This cabinet is only a single cabinet so there is nothing to tie it to. I wanted some advice on what to use to secure it. I thought of the child latches but was looking for other suggestions. Here is a picture of the cabinet

Duct tape :-)

Or, if you prefer, child-proof cabinet latches.

The little nylon hook-and-catch things that you fasten to the inside of the door.

I'd try a Command hook under the cabinet and a light weight bungee cord.

The child latches are what I thought of. The hook and loop is intriguing and I do have some of those that I use for the transponder on my truck. I might have to try that

Thanks

I have the bungee cord. Will the command hooks cause a problem with the finish? It did on the wall on my sticks and bricks house

Don't know . We have Command strips in various places in our TT, but haven't had the need to remove one yet.

We haven't had an issue after removing Command strips from painted surfaces in our sticks and bricks.

We have found that command hooks don't do well with wide temperature swings. Florida summer to October in the Smokies, and our towel rack fell down.
