My wife and I will be going on a cross country trip this summer and I want to get the trailer as prepared as possible. To start I bought a new set of tires. In doing so I went from load range C to load range D. I also bought new metal valve stems to handle the increased air pressure of the new tires. Should I be worried about the wheels? LRC=50psi, LRD=65psi.
Should I have the wheel bearings repacked? Slide-out lubed? Anything else you can think of? Thanks for your help.

Check spring hangers, no lube on Schwintek slides ever. Wheel bearings checked-yes.
House battery, inverter, water pump, etc. When was the last time you used it.

Yes, I would have the wheel bearings repacked and brakes checked/adjusted. I would also check the leaf spring shackles for signs of wear and elongated bolt clearance holes.
Most aluminum rims will handle a "D" load range tire (65psi)..., the rim should be stamped with a rating to confirm. Don't forget to upgrade your TT spare tire.
Would be a good time to check all your roof seams/joints/hardware caulking.
