Longer awning for 287BHSW

We have a Jay Flight SLX 287BHSW and would like to replace the awning with one that is almost as long as the awning track. Has anyone ever done this? If so, how difficult was it? Thanks

I can only agree that we wish the awning was larger on ours. We have resigned to bringing the EZ Up tent every time.

You just need to besure the blocking is in the wall for the arms.

The motor side arm needs to stay, and extend the other arm.. Arm can be reused, you just need to get longer awning.

The one on it is 18'. That's pretty big!

But I do look at my trailer too and wish it was longer to cover the bathroom door.

I think if you go much longer than 18' you will need a center arm.

Good luck
