I am eye balling the Champion 100264 for my next gen purchase. Similar to the 262 except the 264 is dual fuel. I am looking forward to how it works out for you. Keep us posted!

Not affiliated with these guys, saw them on a YT video. They can convert gas gen's (particularly the Champions) to dual fuel (gas/propane). I didn't even know that was possible until I saw this. https://www.supergenproducts.com/

Congratulations. I'm sure that you'll get great service out of it.

I installed this hour meter on mine and highly recommend it. Another Amazon purchase.

Yeah, there are kits available to convert most generators over to propane alone or dual fuel. Some that are also tri-fuel.

Here are the pics finally of the 3400w 10233 Supgergen tri fuel conversion. My only complaint is I wish they would have put the regulator on the front or back rather than the side. It runs off of natural gas, propane, or gasoline without issue. I love it so far.

I added on a quick connect to the regulator but other than that it is as it came from Supergen.

I'm liking that setup, I will be getting setup to my house so I can run power to my house. What all can you run inside your house when you have you generator on?

Purchased my refurbished Champion 3100/3400 inverter model #100233 from SuperGen Products for $649 delivered. Like I said earlier, it arrived in 3 days and looked like it was brand new. No issues to date, runs great.

Had a short power outage and I was able to test it out. I was able to run our fridge, a small chest freezer, gas furnace FAN, router, cable modem, Directv receiver, 32" LED TV and assorted LED lights without issue. I used extension cords.

The plan is to have my home electrical panel redone this summer and a generator plug with a interlock added.

I got the yamaha 2400ishc and love it. It’s way heavier than the honda2000 but it runs the 13500 aircon. In a perfect world I’d buy the honda2000 also for times I knew I’d not be using aircon as it’s easier to lug around

Have the Champion 3500 with the remote start, that was a nice option.Added the micro-air soft start on one of the 15K AC units. Was able to start in econo mode at 5500' elevation.Didn't have to use the choke to lean out for altitude.Best of all fits in my front storage compartment by batteries. Thanks

My 3500 Champion is coming today ! 2 days from Amazon. It only in the 60s today so dont think I can really test it on my 15K AC. My 2400 Yamaha (2000 running) has started it, so I hope the Champion has no troubles.

You should be looking for an inverter. Safer for your microwave, TV, AC, any other electronics you have in your rig. That includes computers, cell charger and any thing else.

Also inverters are quieter, better on fuel use, and give you a sine wave similar to what you get from shore power.

Do a search for inverters and/or generators in the forum for more information.

I just read through this entire thread and didn't see this mentioned, so I'm going to ask. What is everyone using for a 50amp unit with a 15k AC?

Champion 3500 inverter dual fuel. Can do everything except run my second 13.5k AC.

Using 30 amp plug on Champion 3500 inverter genny! Only runs one 15k ac better than none! LOL Do have micro air soft start for ac at high elevations above 5000'.

Do you just store it on the ground when it's running or back of your tow vehicle?

Never mind, just noticed you posted a pic of you storing it in the storage compartment of your trailer.

You don't have any issues with it running in that storage compartment? I would love to be able to get a generator that just stayed in the trailer. I noticed during my travel trailer shopping only Toy Haulers came with generators. Couldn't find any trailer configuration that had a generator.
