My awning fabric has a 'slight' wrinkle at each end when rolled up as well, don't see a way of avoiding it.
Unlike the robust
manual awnings these new power awnings IMO lack frame rigidity and fabric adjustment when deployed.
Also, if the center of the roller tube is 'sagging' a little when rolled up you may want to consider an awning "cradle support". I installed one on my prior TT and it worked great and kept the awning tube from flexing while in tow. I purchased a new cradle support for my present TT but haven't installed it yet.
The longer awnings benefit most from the cradle support.
