Lost dc

I fried my converter and installed a new one. Now the new one is charging the batteries as it should. The trouble is as soon as I disconnect my generator I have no DC. Arrrrghhh.
All fuses look good so I don't know what happened

Looks can be deceiving. Check all fuses between the battery and the converter and also all those in the converter.

Use a meter to check fuses

I would check the fuse that is right at the battery on the line that supplies everything in the trailer. On my trailer, the terminals inside the fuse holder corrode and then I get little if any DC power. Cleaning the contacts solves the problem.

With shore power disconnected, check the voltage at the TT's charge controller. What make/model controller did you install?

Identical to the original. I found the problem. Bad ground. Not only was there rust/corrosion the bolt that attaches the wire to the frame was never tightened and to top that off the wire pulled right out of the crimp.
I think that may have caused the converter to go bad.

I have a relatively new 22FB and I've been finding several poorly made connections in both the ac and dc electrical systems. I'm in the process of going thru everything I can easily access.
