Low battery

Just got home from camping. Was Plugged into shore power 3 days, got home and batteries half full. Converter problem?
This is first time this has happened.
I have 2 deep cycle batteries

Too many variables. Could be bad converter, weak batteries, bad grounds, etc. Start with a digital voltmeter and measure voltage, first with no shore power, then plug in shore power. Voltage should jump up if converter is charging.

Check the incoming voltage (120) and the outgoing voltage (12) of the converter. The converter is on a 15/20 amp breaker by its self.

Thought....we tripped the breaker when blowdryer was used. I reset outlet, but could something have happened to converter when that happened? I know my batteries are good.

Probably not. But without a voltage tester, to do some diagnostics, everything else is a guess.

Many people have said their batteries are "good", but when they load test them, find out that's not the case.

Update...An electrician friend came over. Showed power coming from camper to batteries when plugged in. So, convert seems to be doing its job. But cables were a little loose on one battery. He tightened everything, so hope it is as simple as that! Left it plugged in and will check. The CO/Propane leak monitor quit beeping, so that was good. It is so unhappy when batteries are low. Ha!

How many times do you think the batteries were run down to the low point?
