Low Drain Points
Hi
I have two locations labelled on the trailer as low point drains. These locations are about 2 feet apart. Each location has two plastic pipes protruding from bottom of RV. I located the valves for the first low drain point pair inside the trailer. However, unable to find any valves for the second low drain point pair. I even had a neighbour camper come over to help.
This second low drain point set would seem to be directly under the fresh water tank. The pipes are not capped nor appear to be plugged. If there are valves for these pipes; they are in an inaccessible are or no where near the entry point - i've searched.
Any ideas? I have a 2010 jayflight g2 32BHDS

Are you sure one is not the FW tank drain. My FW tank drain has a label.

Sounds like drain for freshwater tank and possibly the overflow.

In my 26 RLS the second valves are tucked deep in the bathroom vanity.

The other one could be the freshwater tank overflow..

Sounds like an overflow line for the FW.

MY 19RD has 2 places labeled "Low Point Drain"
1 is the FW tank drain and the valve is present near the label.
The other has 2 pipes that are the outlets for the drains to in hot and cold lines located under the vanity sink in the bathroom.
So the labels are totally inconsistent. Look above and below where the labels are to figure out what they really mean.

My FW drains (1/2 turn plastic ball valves on OUTSIDE of trailer) are labeled "Low Point Drains". My actual Low Point Drains (pull-up t-valves valves on INSIDE of trailer under the vanity) carry the same label.

If there is a label on the side of the camper marked "low point drain", there most likely are hidden valves for those pipes. The vanity is a good starting point. I have some exposed and others hidden behind panels.

The outside labels are just indicators. Mine are all inside and behind panels but they are at the stickers location.
