Low point drain question

While winterizing last fall I noticed that now much water came out of the low point drains when I opened the valves and a faucet to vent. More came out when I pressurized with air or ran the pump but it immediately stopped when pressure was removed. So - while fixing a different plumbing problem (pipes banging behind the shower when running the pump) I spotted what I think is the issue. The drains are plumbed in about a foot above the bathroom floor where the pex is run to the shower and it slopes up before bending to go out the bottom of the trailer. Also - the valves are outside the trailer where they could freeze.
My question is - is it worth messing with or should I replumb to a lower point in the plumbing and move the valves inside while I'm at it?

I wouldn't worry about it. The amount of water at the low points isn't enough to be a concern in my opinion. Ice expands so if there's enough room down the line to expand, it won't burst. Lines only burst when full. The ice has nowhere to go but out, splitting the tube. Those red and blue tubes are stronger than you think.

Good catch! But I would tend to think that if you are blowing it out, you should be good.

If you blowothe lines, you should be ok.

The PEX will expand with the ice. But the fitting will not.

If it was me, I might swap the outside shower (black box???), hot water and low point drain connections. Cannot tell from the image if you could do the same with the cold water just as easily.

I don't really think it is an issue. It is hard to tell in the picture. If that is a zip tie holding the red/blue together at the top, I think this could be easily solved. Cut the zip tie and re-tie them together, on the vertical piping. Thus allowing you to slide the red tube down to be horizontal.
