low point drains
Anyone have a preferred method of getting to the t valves under the sink so they can be greased. They are hard enough to reach just to push in and pull out. Thanks

low point drains
My low point drain valves were so hard to get to and operate. I could not see them from inside but with and extra joint in my arm I could touch them.
So............I purchased two slip-on valves to fit the drain pipes that stick out of the bottom of the RV. Easy install. Then opened the T valves inside one more time. Much easier now.

You could use a Shark Fitting. Simple push on install.

Before the install... make sure the PEX has a good 90 degree cut ... and no burrs.
Other than that --- piece of cake.

What is the open/closed position on the two aft low-point drain
Can anyone please explain the open / closed position for the two aft drains on a Jayco Swift 185 SLX. The valves are designed as in-line valves, but are plumbed to the two main lines via a very short nipple.
I've tried every conceivable position without getting any water to drain from these two aft low-point drains. The photos are upside down. Sorry, I can't figure out to right-end the photos.
This newbie appreciates your enlightenment.

It looks like a petcock valve and it appears to be in the right position so I would guess that your drain pipe is plugged maybe an insect or something. Try forcing water back into the system from the drain end.

Some low point drains open by just pulling up until you hear/ see a snap. Pushing it down closes it.
I turned one of your pics over.

mine looked like the turn type but were actually push down or pull up on the t .... also to all who are having problems opening bypass valves and low point drains remember to turn off water pump or hose and release pressure in the lines by opening a faucet on both hot and cold before trying to open .... it facilitates a lot less pressure

Yep. Just pull those "up" to open the drains.
