LP gas problem saga continues

Hello again--after much tapping on the regulator as suggested by the dealer the stove lights but them immediately loses pressure and goes out.
If I shut the stove off and wait five minutes I can turn it on but it immediately goes out again.
Leaving tomorrow for first trip of the summer. May be a faulty regulator but any other ideas would be so appreciated. Thanks.

Could also be a hose issue too?

Stopped at the Jayco dealer where we bought our trailer last June. it turned out that it was a check valve in the hose.
Thanks everyone for all of your help!

I had a problem with my Atwood stove in which they had some faulty pilot light assemblies. Seems the orfice openings were drilled out too large that caused the pilot light to sputter and blow itself out. It took me hours to try to fix. I suggest you have a RV tech who is good with propane issues check it out. It could save you many hours of aggravation. You could also call the stove mfg and see if they can figure out the problem by your description.

These check valves in the pig tails have a tendency to be a problem IMHO. I've had one stick on mine before. I just turned off the tanks, disconnected the hose, tapped the end on the tank collar and hooked it all back up. Been working fine ever since.

If propane flow slows or stops, I turn the tanks off first, then disconnect the hoses to reset all the safety valves, then hook everything back up and turn the tank valves on VERY SLOWLY. This procedure has worked for me every time so far. If it doesn't work, then I'll do the whole thing again and hope it works so I don't have to start replacing parts...
