Main breaker poped

When running the air and microwave at the same time it popped the main breaker, you think this normal?

More info needed. What is your main breaker rating? 30A? What is the amp draw on your A/C and the microwave? The sum of the two should be less than the rating on the main. The main breaker could be getting weak and tripping at a lower current load or one or more of your appliances could be drawing excessive current.

Some quality time with a clamp-on amp meter would be in order.

Mine will do the same thing with my micro and 13.5K A/C ......, everything in my TT checks out ok.

I have the same situation here when running my 13,500 BTU Air Conditioner. If I turn on the Microwave at the same time it usually trips my main 30A breaker in the trailer.

Sometimes it doesn't so it is right on the edge I suspect.

I'm sure some other somewhat high wattage appliances must be 'ON' as well as I have never killed everything except the Air Conditioner and the Microwave to see if they would work together or not.

When I was adding both 120VAC and 12VDC things up one time for doing a BATTERY LOAD SURVEY I did notice all of my 120VAC Appliances added up to more than 30AMPs...

I guess the manf is aware of this and just thinks that everyone will not turn everything on at the same time...

During the winter months this is the reason I always run an extension cord out to the 20AMP service receptacle when I am running my oil-filled Electric Heaters.

Not unheard of. Are we talking the breaker at the CG post or inside the trailer? Was the water heater on also ?

I can pop the 30 amp on the post if the AC or microwave comes on with the TV on and the HW heater recovering from morning showers

When I was camping with 30amp I learned to switch the hot water heater over to propane when the wife was using the microwave or even a coffee pot with a hot plate on it. That solved the issue for me.

But as Mcfarmall said, a little more info could be helpful. What size breaker do you have? 30 or 50 amp? It is fairly common with the 30 amp TT, not sure on the 50 amp TT. I just run one major appliance at a time. Typically just turn off the AC until we are done with the microwave.

Yes it is 30. Amp. It's an 07 29bhs. We have just been turning off ac while we run the microwave.

I have popped a 30 amp CG breaker under similar circumstances but never my own.

With a 30 amp system you may be right on the edge with big power drawing appliances running at the same time.
