Making Lemonade out of lemons

We were supposed to camp at Assateague right now, but reservations were canceled. Therefore, we decided to sleep in the camper in camp driveway. It was a beautiful night for the time of the year, and the smores were yummy.

Stay healthy everyone.

We did this just last Friday. It started with pizza (carryout of course), then smores, then a movie (Overcomer, great family movie) and sleep (with only one waking me to go potty in the house - antifreeze still in the lines of the camper).

Our first reservation isn't until April 24th in Ludington, Michigan. I don't think that reservation is going to keep though. We've got seven or eight more sprinkled though the summer in Michigan after that (and a trip to the Ark in KY in mid May) so we'll play it like everyone else. Stay safe! Sounds like fun. We got a call from the Fairgrounds, about a week ago. Due to the lock down, our TT will not be coming out of storage for at least two more weeks

We love to go to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Never been to Ludington, but heard nice things about it.

We have reservations for Acadia NP in early July. Hope that's far enough out to not be affected. We'll see.

Well, you don't have to worry about the ponies getting into your coolers, at least!!!!
We have reservations at Assateague N.S. in July, and surely do hope we can go. For us next week, it will be setting up in our back yard instead of being at Lake Powhatan N.F. near Asheville, NC.

We've been hold up in the driveway of my shop since the 24 of February in our 4116 Seismic! Watching the shop and camping out. My Granddaughters school is dropping off the lunch program for our rural community in the driveway of our shop, which is great for her and the other kids who live out here.

We've been busy upgrading our
Seismic though. I've rebuilt the bed into a three way adjustable bed and installed a new Tuft and Needle mattress. Installed the new water softener and filter. Resecured the tie downs in the garage. Installed grab handles on the outside doors. Built a sewer hose tube and a box for the fittings. Taped and sealed all of the AC outlets and installed 2 more in the livingroom and bedroom and 1 in the bathroom. But I am still needing some help to remove the 3 ACs and seal them.

Buying the needed items from our local Ace Hardware store paint and such, lots of such.

Camping in your back yard, front yard driveway or place of business can be lots of fun for all but the wallet.

Be safe out there and keep healthy people, and remember we're all in this together!

Funny thing: The family that we were going to meet to camp with at Assateague is from Asheville, NC. Last time we visited them, we checked out the Powhatan campground for us to stay when we visit next time. it looked very nice.

We did the same! Spent 2 nights in the backyard. Cooked on the fire and had s’mores! Making the best of things!

That's a very nice backyard campsite. Why do you have to go anywhere else ?

Cannot get my rig into my driveway or I would be doing the same. Hopefully when the lock down is lifted we can get back in the swing of things. Was supposed to be going to Alaska in the next two weeks, but that has been delayed..

Love it! Our travel trailer is now parked in our yard and our grandson was able to spend time in it and have the backyard as his "park". Now that we've been able to sanitize the area (we have too many people on the front medical lines to assume we're all non-germy), I think we'll do the same. You had me with s'mores!
