manuals for 264BH | 2019 JAY FLIGHT SLX 8

Hello i just bought a 264BH | 2019 JAY FLIGHT SLX 8 and was wondering if anyone has this trailer. did you receive any manuals with it. my last trailer when i bought it i was given a large folder with every manual for everything from the dvd player to the hot water tank and everything in between. i was not even given the propane certificate that it shows it passed the testing

If new it should have a Manuel package.

Did you buy it as new or used? If new it's probably sitting in the FINANCE OFFICE at the dealer.

it was sold as new. demo unit. but after i picked it up it was used. maybe as a rental.

It's possible the dealer took the manual package out, and put it somewhere safe like a desk drawer or file cabinet, and forgot to put it back in the unit when it went on the lot for sale. Ask him to look for them for you. They're important to have with the rig. We had a few warranty registration cards in ours, to activate the warranties on the major components with the manufacturer. That information stays on file with them, in the event of any recalls on their product.

I did ask the dealership. if it has any manuals he told me they do not come with them any more. i was thinking. yeah right. they should.

I find that excuse pretty lame. If that was the case, this Forum would go ballistic with a thread called "WHAT--NO MANUALS ANY MORE??".

Did you go through all the cabinets? Also look under the bed or dinette seats.

Yes we have been everywhere looking in the trailer for 2 reasons. . One for the manuals and another reason to find more wrong with it. Oh and we are not happy with this dealership. Owasco RV Bowmanville Ontario Canada. We have had a very very bad experience with this company

I bought a 2019 Jay Flight SLX 298BH a month ago to replace our 2013 popup. It came with all the manuals. The dealer is lying to you.

I purchased the same model and year in July of 2019. I received a complete set of manuals the day I picked up the trailer.
