Manufacturers Manuals

Hi All,

We bought our 2017 212QBW used.

Going through the online manual (https://www.jayco.com/files/download...nd%20White.pdf) there are a lot of places where you are referred the manufacturer's manual for things like the water pump and water heater, for example.

The only manual we got with the trailer is for the toilet.

Does anyone know where these manuals can be obtained? I haven't even been able to determine who the manufacturers are.

Thanks in advance,
Grant and Fiona

I’ll list manufacturers for common items: Maybe you can get manuals from their website.

Atwood, Inc or Dometic. Hot water heater.
Atwood, Inc. – Furness
Atwood, Inc. – Stovetop/Oven
Pentair – “Shurflo” water pump
Dometic or Norcold – refridgerator.
Coleman or Airxcel – Air Conditioner.
Winegard – TV Antenna
Dometic or CareFree - Auto or manual awnings.
Dexter Axle or Lippert Components – Axle, suspension, bearings, brakes
Lippert Components or Schwintek – slide out.

Your components will have a brand, and model number somewhere on them, and some may have online information you want. Your water pump will most likely be a Shurflo, and water heater will be Atwood/Dometic. I don't know of anywhere else to get printed manuals, except through the manufacturers.

Thanks! I'll start digging into the model numbers and check the manufacturer's websites

Check the top of this page. "Manuals" you may find some of what you need there but I think it is spotty.

Fixed items like the fridge, a/c, and stove should have data plates visible from the front or rear access panels. For some things like the water pump you may need to use a small mirror and flashlight to find mfg name and model. Also, I’ve learned to hold my phone in a small space and take a picture. Surprising how well that works.

Google is your friend. I’ve found manuals for everything I’ve needed by starting with a search of “brand” “model #” MANUAL. I’ve found service in addition to owners manuals which are really helpful.

Contact Jayco and ask for the build sheet. It will give you the item, model and serial number installed. Mine was 3 pages long. I used that to download all the manuals and the manual bag now stays home in the file cabinet.

All Jayco gave me for a build list was a simple list, including things like "AIR CONDITIONER, 13.5K BTU [STD]" and "6GAL GAS DSI WATER HEATER". No model numbers.

I'll look for model numbers this weekend when we take it out
