Mattress Replacement

We're looking to replace out 2 -ear old queen mattress with a new one, without spending too much. We're looking at a 10-inch hybrid (part foam part innerspring) mattress from Ashley (10 Inch Hybrid Queen Mattress in a Box
ITEM# - M69631). Does anyone have any experience with this item? Thanks.

we just purchased a Queen Mattress, Molblly 8 inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress in a box, from Amazon.ca, paid $219 for it. Have not been able to really try it out, because of campground closures, but just laying on it for a short time, it's the best $219 we have spent. I also finished off the bed support walls, and since the new mattress is longer, had to lengthen the platform a bit. It does not matter what kind of mattress you buy, if you don't support the bed, you will eventually roll into the middle

I bought 10” queen from Amazon two years ago for 199.00. Money well spent.

We bought a Zinus 8" memory foam off of Amazon before we even slept on the original mattress. Less than $200. Very happy with it. Our 28RLS has a full size queen. Amazon has the short queen also.

Are the memory foam mattresses firm or soft? We like a firm mattress but are not sure about buying one without testing it first.

My Zinus short queen has a top layer that is soft and a firmer lower layer. It is the 10 inch and cost about 200. Zinus tends to call it's thinner mattreses as firmer and softer as they get thicker. We are looking at a full queen 12 inch for our house.
If you buy from Zinus direct they have a very good rep for takebacks, Amazon, a little more problems for a buyer who doesn't like it.

I would consider it on the firm side. Everyone's take on comfort will be different. We liked it so well we bought a 12" King size for our home.
