Maximum Water Pressure

I have a Jayco Jay Flight 23RB and I'm wondering what the maximum water pressure should be when hooked up to city water. I have a water pressure gauge and a Camco pressure regulator, but I don't know what the pressure should ideally be.

The owners manual on the Flight trailers say the pump puts out 45 PSI but a 40 PSI regulator is recommend when using city water. Pages 8-2 and 8-3 from the 2015 manual.

40 lb for city water. RV parks can be all over the board. Spent a week in red river nm last year, and city let their pressure hit 120 lbs to the park. Lots of people ended up with problems. Learned the hard way to have a spare or two pressure regulator on hand.

40 lb max.. put the regulator at the faucet NOT on the RV. This way it will also protect the hose from breaking..

You are soo correct about you're (only hose blowout) at the faucet is the best location.

I had the same question, our Jayco is hooked up to a well that fluctuates 40-60 psi, guess I will add a regulator to be safe. Glad I found this post, thanks!
