maxx air vent covers

In my 2011 Eagle I have a Northern breezes fan. Does anybody feel that the Maxx Air II will not work with this fan. I know the fan mate is recommended but why spend the extra $$. It is pushing air out not sure why there would be a problem.

It boils down to the amount of air the fan can push/pull depends on the area it's trying to push/pull the air through. Kinda like a water hose diameter, 5/8" hose will give you more water per minute than 1/2" hose.

We have a MaxxAir II cover over 1 high speed fan and a FanMate cover over another high speed fan and I can tell very little difference in air movement. So IMHO the MaxxAir II should work just fine for your application. Have you seen these new ones? http://www.campingworld.com/browse/p...847925&rewrote Hard to tell from the pic but looks like they might allow the fan cover to open further than the MaxxAir II. But they are currently $10 more that MaxxAir in white.

I use MaxxAir II with Vortex fan.

Not sure how much CFM the Northern Breeze creates, but the MaxxAir II works great for my Vortex Fan.

Thanks for the info. RVWholesaler has the Maxxair II for $34.99 the fan mate is $89.99. So I think I will give the II a shot.

When I bought my Max Air II's I found the Silver Ones on-line for $19, guess they made too many Silver and had to move them.
I like the Silver, they do not look too bad on our White Pinnacle but they are Opaque Enough to block the sun light.
