migrating from hybrid to eagle 284bhbe

Just pushed forward on the order of a custom 284bhbe. Can't wait as we're upgrading from an x23b which we've had the last three years. The wait will definitely be hard, but will be nice to hopefully have it in time for the summer camping.

One interesting note from our sales guy is that when he hit up his Jayco rep he says "(Jayco Rep) stressed today the sooner the better. They are talking about dropping the floor plan for the 2017 model year."

Will be interesting what they go with as we were looking for a smaller bunk house and like this plan coming from the x23b with a lot of storage and main space.

Let the waiting begin!

Congratulations on the new TT. It WILL be worth the wait.

Congrats...we also recently upgraded from an X23B and looked at this Eagle floorplan before deciding to go with the little brother 28BHBE. Weight was our main concern as we're towing with a half ton. Hopefully the wait will be less than ours.

Yea, we moved to a 2500 last year when we started taking longer trips. Much nicer going from MI to SD towing with the 2500 than the old Touareg I had.

Right now the estimate is some time in April. I hear they rotate through floorplans so the timing depends on when they last ran orders for that floorplan. It'll be a tough wait, but as we're in MI I'm used to not doing too much camping before the weather warms up enough to put the bunk ends out in the hybrid. Still going to be a tough wait!

Date is in today. Scheduled to come off the line May 12th and GeneralRV says it'll be there and ready sometime the week after that. Ordered March 1 so little longer than estimated, but still in time to get some use out of if Michigan will stop snowing in April!!!

Gah, it's so close. Got this pic from our dealer while I was traveling for work last week. Hopefully will get it ready this week and we'll be having a fun memorial day weekend getting to know the new camper. Looks like we got one of the last 2016's as the color scheme isn't the new 2017 silver.
