Mirror Extensions

Just got new Chevy 1/2 ton and need mirror extensions. Anybody use these:

I've used that type before as well but my new truck has painted mirrors and don't want to risk scratching them with these slide over design.

I've been satisfied with the Cipa's. 3 years now.

I have been using Aero. One of the features I like, I can mount them so the reach way out, and I can easily see my tt's bumper. I also do not see much vibration when mount out there a long ways.

I picked up a pair of these from Amazon (or almost identical) and they work great. I had to send one back because the mirror quality was not the best (looked like I was in a house of mirrors).

Why not just replace with some look-a-like factory tow mirrors? That's what my neighbor's son did. Something like these...https://www.amazon.com/YITAMOTOR-Mir...gateway&sr=8-4

He loves them and said they took him about an hour to install.

Agreed, I used ones like that when I had my F-150 and was always happy with them.

The ones OP linked to I never liked. The set I had made funny noises at highway speed, plus I was always afraid they were going to fall off.

On my last truck I bought after market extension mirrors off of ebay (just like the factory ones except 80% cheaper) and installed them myself. That was the best overall by far.

I bought a pair of Milenco mirrors three years ago and they work great. No vibration and stay where I adjusted them even over bumps or interstate speeds.

Good input from forum members, thanks. Those look alike factory mirrors are nice but not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a smaller diameter meter, like 4" but I'm having a hard time finding them. This one I posted is in my wheel house but a little big.
