Missing camping

We glamped last week at the beach in my parents pop up, 82+ during the day! But, of course it was high of 50ish today, low 30's last night... Got to love So Cal. Can hardly wait for our HTT!

Really missing camping here too. Have Myrtle Beach booked for a week in April for the kids spring break. Still working out the details for our summer trips...

No ice, just a cold rain!! can't complain though, they were calling for 1/4 to 1/2" of ice.

I started missing it while I was pouring in the antifreeze, and that was two weeks ago. I'm trying to get DW to commit to a trip the weekend after New Years. We'll see how the weather is. Gotta try to cram as much into January as I can 'cause I'm locked-down until after 4/15... Even if I don't get to go out, Spring is when I'll be doing all my tinkering in the driveway and getting ready for Summer and Fall.

That's one good thing about South Texas, there are only a couple days out of the year I really don't want to be out.

To occupy our time until we can get our camper out on the road we like to plan next summer's trips. We look for interesting areas to visit, send off for free travel brochures, make campground reservations, etc. It can be fun just planning your trips and it sure helps to fight off the winter time blues.

Me too! I also cut, split and stack mass quantities of firewood for next year. As I work on it I think about how good it will be to feel the heat and smell the smoke while I'm camping next summer. Only 12 days till the first day of winter and then the days start getting longer!!!

It's close to 45 degrees below zero where I live ... So where would I be camping? Anywhere but here!

Cruizin Kim....I highly recommend Gettysburg Campground when you decide to go to Gettysburg. This is the only place that we stay at when in Gettysburg. Super nice and super clean...
