Missing camping

Wow came home today, its cold outside. I see my camper next to the house and think man , wish I was camping. This is going to be a long cold winter, uuuggggg. So if you were camping now where would you be and if camping now where. I would probally be at Lake George RV park. Its not to far from my house and not close enough where I would run home for anything. And I like the campground. Who has any trips booked for next spring, and where.

Donedroolin, We live in Lake George (CO) where it's currently 0 degrees, heading for -9 and -13 Sunday. That's why we're in Arizona right now!

Cold in Arizona too. I saw frost on the windshield this morning and the high was only in the low 50's.

I'm missing camping, too. We don't have any trips scheduled until early March and we'll do a local CG with our camping friends. First big trip is to Gettysburg in April.

In Virgnia, we have booked Lake Anna in April with the Virginia Campers Club, and Shenandoah Valley CG for Halloween in October. In between, we're still in the planning stage.

I really miss camping too, especially today because we got SLAMMED here in Nashville, In. with 12 inches of snow. Of course, they only predicted 3 to 5. Must be nice to be a weatherperson. Anybody else get nailed today?

Cold everywhere, its sleeting outside then going to snow here in Upstate N Y. Hate this weather I need to move south. We don't have any trips planned for next season. We are going on a cruise for two weeks that cuts into camping time and money for camping. Will do some local trips on the long weekends, can't wait for that. Can't believe AZ is that cold. Who else has there camper covered. I like keeping it covered protects it I think and then when we uncover it. We are like wow, that's awesome. Can't wait.

Reservations for month of Feb in the Fla panhandle on the gulf. Getting antsy so talked to the wife about leaving a week or so early to stop over by her sisters a couple weeks early on our way south. Now spending time with the inlaws is not necessarily high on my list, I knew it was a good way to kick my wife loose early for the trip. PS the sister lives on the Miss gulf coast and the CG near them is part of the Gulf Island National Sea Shore. Not a bad place to spend a few days [1/2 price with our Senior Pass] and who knows may get in a day or 2 of fishing and I can already taste the table full of local seafood.

Jealously usually isn't one of my personality traits, until now. My Dad lives in Port Charlotte, might have to make a quick trip down there to see how he's doing, even though i just spoke with him yesterday.

Hey billb800si, was wonder why you went with the keystone couger high country over Jayco. We looked at the 329tst high country. Very close layout to my Eagle, but had one more slide for closet. I liked the Keystone but did not like the extra slide, more to go wrong for a closet. The high country is built close to the Eagle, what made you buy it. Best of luck with it they are real nice

I believe weather predicting persons are the only workers known to man who can be wrong more than half the time, and still keep their job.

We are in our camper now in NC waiting for the ice storm. Just got here last week from CT, thought it would be warmer here.

One of my friends called me and said he had 8" of partly-cloudy on his driveway.

Edit: You're forgetting about economists.

An excellent reason to take a trip, and a worthwhile destination. C'mon down. We want our son to visit during Christmas, but he can't get the time off work.

Awaiting an ice storm in your camper. Wow that's going to be interesting. Let us know how you make out. Hope all goes well . I would think NC would have been warmer then CT also. I hate this weather where is spring already.
