missing parts 19XUD

I just got my 2018 19XUD and love it. But I was looking at Jayco.coms virtual 360 viewer and I see the small kitchen window has blinds and the valance installed, mine nothing! Anyone else not have a blind on theirs when recieved from dealer? I heard they can't be like the other windows (the cloth pull down blind) because of fire hazard near stovetop! But the metal binds can be used and should be included,no?

Maybe be an oversight, maybe not. There as another member here who had a similar situation and was told it was a change in production design. The small print can allow that!
I would ask your dealer to check on it, it makes no sense to have a window that anyone can see into.

Worst case you could add one yourself, or if your dealer values your loyalty, they might do it..

Assuming that you fit your own, keep in mind that it needs to be fire retardant.
On our 19XUD, that small blind appears to be a very light metal, as opposed to the cloth used for all the other blinds, because of its proximity to the hob.
The blinds are attached to the inside of the valances, not to the wall, by the way.

I did hear a year ago or so on here, that they had eliminated the kitchen binds.

Yep, lots of flack for that decision from folks looking at the pics with one.

Mine has one but it's a very easy addition . Take the valence off and attach the blind to the underside, replace valence.

I know that stinks on a new unit.
