Moab & Mesa Verde recomendations

We are going through the area and would like to camp for a few days at Moab and then Mesa Verde. Checked and both federal campgrounds are booked up so need to go commercial. Just need a clean, reasonably priced place to put our 19 foot trailer for a few nights. No kids along but clean showers are nice.

thanks!

Moab is crazy busy!! Not sure you will find anything but boondocking there.
As for Mesa Verde, there a lot of places to stay, Target tree CG is pretty nice and not far.
Happy trails!!

No help on the Moab part, there are several parks in Moab but never used them. One north of town a few miles. As mentioned boondocking spots galore but there are also people galore Could be tough.
For Mesa Verde there are a couple right across the road from the park. One is called Ancient Cedars and the other Mesa Verde RV Resort perhaps a mile from the park entrance. I have not stayed in them either but we have some property down there and I pass by them many times a year and they look fine to me. While I don't normally see them full to capacity I would still make a reservation. Another one just east of Mancos a few miles called Echo Basin which is supposed to be pretty nice about 4 miles off the highway or so probably 10 or 12 miles from the park entrance. There are also a few in Cortez but for me personally would rather stay up the hill out of town than right in town.

We will be through there this fall and had the same problem locating a place. I did fine a place in Moab that seems OK ? We haven't stayed there so I can't give a recommendation other than they seem nice and are responsive. You might look into it. The place is called Moab Rim Campground. Hope it helps.
