Models??

I'm new to Jayco's having recently purchased a used one. From the factory web site I'm have a hard time figuring out what is different about all the "models"...Lite, Flight, Eagle, etc.???
Can someone give me a quick run down.
Thanks

Not trying to sound like a wise guy, but have you checked their website? They break it down fairly well there.

??? On the web site a comparison of the Jayflight and the Jayflight G2 for example produces very little useful info other than the different floor plans. I was thinking the different product lines may have more or less insulation, heavier duty frames, pricier appliances etc. I guess a trip to the dealer is in order.

The Jayflight and Jayflight G2 are constructed the same way with the same appliances. The G2 comes standard with more features and offers some options not available on the Jayflight. For example the Jayflight has a manual awning, G2 has electric awning. Some models like the 28 BHs Jayflight and 29 BHS G2 are dimensionally identical, same length, same floorplan. The G2 just has more bells and whistles. Eagles are Jayco`s top of the line TT. The Jayfeathers are somewhat lighter and generally have less cargo carrying capacity to help keep them lighter. Some of these are also hybrids. These descriptions are generalizations and yep, a trip to the dealer would be very helpful in sorting them all out. Good luck, Lee

The options on the G2 are more numerous as well. For example, they come standard with R7 or R9 insulation. On my G2, I upgraded to R19 walls, R21 ceiling, and R24 in the floor. They had abut 13 different upgrade options available, of which I took 11. I don't believe the Jayflight has all of those things available.

Fresno, while on the Jayco site, as you look at floorplans take a look at the standard/options tab.

If you just want to play around with the different models - I like going to rvdirect.com. It shows you all of the options and you can click on them for a description. It looks like the 2012 models are including many more options than previous years.

Be careful though - you might just find yourself placing an order!
