Mounting tv

Diagram on the wall
Television bracket location on wall.
So where do I mount the bracket?
Hope this makes sense to someone.
Thanks in advance

If the wall is marked that is normally where it's reinforced to mount the bracket.

I would say that sticker on the wall is the center of the blocking...nice to know the size of it...you should be able to feel were the block starts and finishes by pushing on the flimsy wall, tapping on the wall with your finger/tool or with a stud sensor. I would assume the block would go from stud to stud for maximum strength. No worries though...the TV will cover any unnecessary holes

Question TV Mount Screw Length

Related question, are the wall studs 2" deep? How long of screws are safe for mounting the tv bracket?

Thanks for your help!

Not sure, but I mounted the tv using 1 inch screws.
With a 30 pound rating. I haven’t traveled with it yet. Doesn’t have a quick release.

I mounted a swinging wall mount for my tv at the designated mounting location. The mount is one inch wider than what the factory mount was. I was able to use two of the original holes. Mounted with 1 1/2 inch lag bolts. Got a 25 inch tv due to the limited space on the wall between wall, ceiling and window. Second season on traveling with the tv and its solid on the wall and stays latched snuggly.
