Moving on

I guess all good things come to an end. After RVing for over 30 years it's time to move on.

No need to mention all the reasons, and there were many, that went into this decision, but it's made and my 2016 JayFeather 23RLSW sold within 4 hours of placing the ad on Craigslist.

Had 2 other solid backup offers if the first one didn't work out.

The $5 cost for the Craigslist ad sure was worth it.

Right now it's a sellers market and I am very happy with the selling price.

Definitely will miss the life style. I will still monitor this forum as it's been interesting and I sure have enjoyed it, and like everyone learned a lot.

Good luck to everyone and happy trails no matter where your journey's end.

Congrats on the fast sale. Please do stick around! We don't mind that there isn't any RV in your driveway.

I bought mine a couple weeks ago. I contacted the sellers hours after they listed it. When I picked it up they said they had 3 other people in line if I didn't come through.

My inlaws recently made a similar decision. At their age, they just weren't interested in doing it any more. It's WAY too easy for them to get gravely injured doing something simple in/at/around the camper. Things my wife and I take for granted at our age.

They sold theirs on consignment and got full asking price in less than a week. Their rig was a small Class C in great condition for its age.

I wish you the best of luck in your next adventure!

Thanks for the compliment. It was just advice from my experiences, definitely not gospel.

Maybe help someone along the way. I think that's everyone's intent here.
