We love camping in the North ALA-GA-SC high country... Some of our favorite places like CLOUDLAND CANYON at the Trenton GA I59 exit... DESOTA STATE PARK at Ft Payne is just down the road...

Great winter camping as well haha...

Congratulations! I am not farmilar with that area. I don't think Alabama gets very cold for very long, so if your living in it with the heat on, I would fully suspect you'll be fine. My biggest concern will be the water supply line, and sewer lines, during cold snaps.

I would recommend having a large propane tank delivered.

I live in central Alabama. You should have no issues if you are living in it. I winterize for storage purposes. We do experience freezing temperatures, but usually warms above 32 during the day.

Alabama, eh? I live in Michigan, but this fall I towed our 26BH down to Alabama, as it's straight south of where I live, and therefore, the quickest way to get my trailer to a place with little or no snow. I dropped it off at a nice storage facility and drove the TV straight back to Michigan. Now, when we want to escape the Michigan winter, it's down there waiting for us.

Looks like I'm stored just a little south of you. We have it in Vinemont, right down I65 from you.

Our plan is to drive down in our winter months and hitch up and head further south.

So, as I read that Alabama's getting snow and cold weather right now, I'm thinking, what the heck!?!? Not worrying about it though, as it's bound to be better than Michigan in February.
