Just purchased my trailer and am setting it up. The Dealer Service Rep suggested that I install a screen over the water heater panel, stove outlet etc. I looked at the retail versions but while measuring I wonder why no one just cuts screen, like screen on a screen door, and fastens it to the inside of these panels. On the hot water panel I could use high heat epoxy or caulking and fasten it to the inside. Am I missing something?
I have found screens for all my "vents" except one that must be 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 for the heat outlet for my stove. Am I overdoing it by covering this vent?

Progressive Industries Portable Electrical Management Systems (EMS). It's a surge protector and more (low voltage, high voltage, etc.). Excellent quality and warranty. And, unlike the surge protector I already had, it automatically restores power after the error condition ends.
Just came today or so I was told. Not home from work yet

And thanks to you I've ordered and installed screens for my water heater, fridge, and heater. Good stuff
Be careful with the tighter weave of house screens. A little dust buildup and you can be restricting air flow...
Good advice. I put a dog flea collar in the furnace compartment and water heater compartment once per year and that does the trick for me. Screen only over the furnace exhaust port.
