Need help with 26BH brake wiring

Hello everyone. I had a little issue with red squirrels at my farm this spring and need some help. The squirrels seem to have chewed and cut the electric wires going into my brake hub on the driver's side of my 26BH. I managed to get it rewired so that the truck detects the trailer but I want to be 100% sure I did it correctly.

Would someone do me a favor and take a picture of there wiring on there 26BH brake hub or lead me in the right direction to find it? This would be greatly appreciated.

There a good video on trailer brake wiring on your tube.
Starts about 1/2 way through video.
Looks like two wire come off each hub. One goes to ground one hot, doesn't matter which.

You are making it harder than it is.

There are 2 wires on each brake. As long as the aren't connected to each other, but are connected to the brake signal and ground you are fine.

10-4. That makes sense. I seem to overcomplicate electrical. I am DIY guy but seem to have a lack of experience with anything electrical.
