need tires

Hi all, new to forum. just got a 2011 26 BH and need tires. Last tt was a 25`
prowler lite, was running ST 205/75R 15 tires. seemed to be ok. would they be ok on the jayco or are there better ones? Don`t recall the brand on the old one? I`m sure I will be asking for more help in the near future but for now tires come first.
thank you

Lots of good and bad brands of tt tires out there. I put Carlisle's on last time and really like them. My recommendation is to go up one load rating from OEM.

If I had to replace today, my choices would be in this order 1) Endurance by Goodyear, 2) Radial Trail HD by Carlisle, 3) M8008 by Maxxis.

Biggest draw back to the Endurance is lack of a long track record. But they've been on trailers since early part of 2017. If there were many short term problems, the RV forums would be overheated by now.

The Carlisle's have been out a year or two longer than the Endurance. If this new design tire was having the same problems the old style Carlisles were, the RV forums would again be overheating from the posts.

Go with Goodyear Endurance in the size spec’d on a label that should be on the lower left front corner of the trailer. And, welcome to JOF

Just got my Goodyear Endurance tires yesterday. ST205/75/15 LR D. If you have 5 inch wide rims on your trailer, which I suspect you do, you shouldn't go any wider than 205. The 225 width tires are meant for 6 inch rims. The 26BH is fine with LR C tires but it wouldn't hurt to go up to a D.
