New 195 RB and no lights

Hello all, I bought a new 195 RB yesterday and brought it home. Went to clean it up today and found the lights don't work. Neither does the radio. I checked the battery itself and found 12.4 volts. When I plugged a meter into the TV power outlet I got nothing. The wall mounted meter shows nothing either.

Did I miss a battery turn off switch or something similar? The dealer had the unit plugged in when we inspected it so the lights n pump all worked.

Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We have the same model and had the same problem on our first night out. Check the fuses. May of ours got loose on the drive to the campsite.

Possible Answer

I agree. check fuses. In fact , go to an automotive store and get a 10-pack of 40A, 30A and 15A fuses. Keep in mind that you may have an outside fuse in the battery wiring.

BTW, when you are on shore power, the inverter supplies power and charges the battery too.

Oh yeah. That was another loose fuse. The inverter wasn't charging the battery either.

Those free multimeters from Harbor Freight were a life saver...

Found it! The fuse was under the battery. Everything worked once I replaced it. Thanks all for your replies.
