New 2018 SLX 265RLS

Getting close to retirement. Wanted to upgrade from our 1st Jayco, a 2005 Jay Feather 25Z. No matter how far and wide we looked, there was never any competition from any other brand. Floor plan is perfect for our needs. Will be picking it up in about 10 days. (would be sooner, but a trip that's been scheduled without a camper is getting in the way!.....LOL)

1st trip out is the day we pick it up. Will keep you posted on how it goes.

Picked up the new 265 RLS a couple of days ago. Everything went well at the dealer. (Kudos to Camper Country in Myrtle Beach, SC. They have treated us very well over the past 5 years.)

Was really excited about getting out this weekend. Minor problem. Something called a hurricane, by the name of Florence..........

Just hope that it doesn't repeat what happened a couple of years ago with Matthew. Most of the State Parks around the state were closed for weeks.

It's just wait and see.

The month after I got mine I had to live in it for a little while due to Hurricane Harvey.
It wasn't but for a week or so but it came in handy. I sure gave it a good rain test!
