Question New 25BH, Love it but, batteries drained...

We took our new Jay Feather out this past weekend for it's maiden voyage and we had shore power all weekend but upon leaving my battery was completely drained.

My wife and I are new to the trailer scene so is there something I am missing?

I'm thinking in our 28RLS there is a breaker for the Charge Controller/Converter. So maybe yours is off and it never charged the battery while you were plugged in? If not that I guess I would check and see if when you are plugged into shore power you are getting 12v to the batttery (not from).

Maybe a blown fuse in the battery lead???

As mentioned, check to see if you have 12v at the battery (carefully unhook wires and don't let the positive touch anything) with a volt meter it test light. Maybe you have a bad battery.

Good luck!

Yeah absolutely check fuses & breakers after checking voltage with a multimeter if you have one. Also make sure cables are tight. I ran my 25bh after 2 days of shore power & one night in Walmart, just tapping a led light once in awhile, & had a full charge. I took the battery out & keep it on a trickle charger when not in use. The 2017 J feather 25BH I have now has a red positive & black negative battery wire setup , make sure they are correct., GL with the battery.
