Getting a new 2018 JF BHBE Friday. Planning to pull it with my stock Supercrew (Crew Cab) 5/12' bed 145'' WB 3.5 Ecoboost 10 speed 355 Rear End Ford F-150 Supercrew with Max-towing (12,200 lbs max supposedly...). Any WD hitch advise? Other advise or heads up?

I have towed my 28bhbe with my 2017 F150 Supercrew 6.5' bed with 3.73 5.0L for 2 years now with no issues, however just last summer we did a 3 weeks 6000km trip and I did feel the cross wind, at times it was scary. I decided to update my WD hitch to a Propride hitch (same concept as Hensley) and what a difference it makes.

When I did have my husky WD hitch, what helped with the sway was applying the trailer breaks. Good luck

We are going to look at a 28BHBE and a 28BHS this afternoon. We have only had our 245RLS since last Spring but it was our first RV and we learned a lot about what we need and what we want.

SWMBO has decided that, with six grandchildren, we need a bunkhouse so this gives us the opportunity and rationale to upgrade.

We upgraded when the hubby looked at the sleeps 3 model I brought home 2 years ago and well, upgraded to a bunk model sleeps 5 since the girl child brought home friends who now want to do a slumber party in it. Works as long as its summer. Otherwise there is 4 of us and possible one more if we go on vacation. Good luck.
