New 32bhds is at the dealer!

Had to drive by my dealer's lot today so I stopped in to see if my 32bhds had come in yet. Perfect timing! It came in last night and they had just finished washing it. I am scheduled to pick it up next Friday. It is going to be a long week! :hihi:

I have a long weekend over Easter so I can prep and load it up. My first trip as of now is planned for Memorial Day weekend. If the weather continues to be decent here in PA I will probably get a couple of runs in before Memorial Day. I hope to take a trip to Maine with it this summer if the government doesn't have gas prices up to $10/gallon.

Congrats.

I bought my 32BHDS in 2009 and still absolutely love it. It handles me, my wife and our 6 kids great. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Eric2500hd,

Enjoy! The 32BHDS is a great unit with lots of space for the kids, thanks to the bunkhouse slide and extendable u-dinette.

Heading to Point Sebago in Maine this summer for a week I hope the gas prices don't go any higher either.

Changes to 32bhds

I took the wife and kids to the dealer Saturday to see the new camper. We noticed some nice changes on it compared to the 2012 32bhds we looked at on the lot. The first and most noticable was the wall between the master bedroom and living area. The lot model had a square edged wall with a fixed tv mount. Our 32bhds has a newly designed wall. The corners are rounded on each side giving a more streamlined look and better access into the bedroom. The wall also has the swiveling tv mount so you can watch it in the bedroom. We liked that feature on the older 32bhds and were very happy to see it on our new camper. Also at the bottom of the wall was an opening off the floor you could put your shoes into to keep the out of the way. The salesman thought that maybe the changes were Jayco getting geared up for the 2013 models.
Another change was the 12 volt outlet below the corkboard door that covers the electrical controls. Instead of the wall plate that was on the lot model ours had a flush mount outlet with a rubber cover over the hole. A less noticable setup.
The camper also has the black tank flush system on it. I was not expecting that either.
We were very excited to see the camper and cannot wait to pick it up on Friday.

Sounds great - any chance of posting some pictures of the changes?

My 32 BHDS

came in on Thursday. We noticed the changes as well. Looks great. It looks like there is enough room to install a tv in the bedroom behind the living room tv. I am going to try to use the one in place for both rooms at first I cant wait to pick it up!
Enjoy

I'm interested in seeing the changes too... I was glad that we got a 2011 when I saw that the TV no longer rotated into the bedroom. I'm not surprised at all to see that they brought this feature back! I do wish that we had some of the other changes made to the 2012s though (like the 12V outlet).
