New 33RLDS in three weeks

Hello All, (My first post, newbie):hihi:
The story.
I purchased a 2012 33RLDS from a dealer in Lansing Michigan. I live in western Canada and will be driving 1600+ miles to collect said TT. After export/import at the Sarnia/Port Huron border crossing, my wife and I will head home using the TT for a few nights on the return journey.
The question.
This is my first brand new TT and wondering what I should be asking and checking for at the dealership when I have my familiarisation/walkround with the sales guy.

Really excited about getting this TT, anyone own this model want to weigh in with reviews/advice and so on?

Best Regards.

Dave C.

Welcome Dave C. My advice: get them to demonstrate that everything is working (heater, frig, range, AC, etc.)... don't just take their word for it.

Because it is quite a distance from your home you might consider staying in a nearby campground for a couple of days just to be sure everything works as intended.

Dave, I own a 2011 model and it has been really awsome. When checking it out make sure the slides close all the way flush and open all the way flush. Make sure the awning goes out easily and retracts easily also. Just go over the trailer with a fine tooth comb and check out everything, if there is any questions make sure you get good answers. Make sure they hook up to water and that there are no leaks. Since you are going that far I would agree with what Clutch says and stay at a campground for a few days. Good luck and enjoy Ernie

Welcome Dave!

Sounds like some good advise so far already posted. We are picking up our 33rlds May 12 and will be checking all components during the inspection. Pre inspection is the time to be sure all is in working order. They will be more eagar to repair a defect if it is highlighted before you hand over the cash! Lol.
