new awning ordered

Well the Mighty Eagle needs a new awning and we finally ordered a new carefree of Colorado pioneer model with all the options !!! We have a 20 foot awning and I made sure to order the awning support. When we got the Eagle it was used and the awning already had some repair tape on it so it was due to be changed someday soon and we knew it.
Should have the new awning installed in about two weeks or so as the man who is doing the work is going on a missioinary trip next week and there is just not enough time. I think that is a time delay I can understand.
We are also getting the rafter supports as well....not too sure about the ground support part but I got a few days more to decide.
Install and parts should run about 1400.00. We are also getting just the vinyl top.....no one could convince me to go acrylic but I am willing to listen. The guy at C.F.O.C. said it was mainly a beauty thing with people who have more money than me looking to show off. I am counting on the real world experience of the Jayco Forum to tell me what they think.
All comments are welcome !!!!

I am interested in opinions also. Our awning has a small problem that can't be fixed without $$$$.

I have a crapee of Colorado awning and will replace it as soon as I can afford to.. I have had nothing but trouble with it and when I called crapee of Colorado they outright lied to me.. Since crapee would not replace it Jayco did under customer satisfaction (yeah Jayco)

All our awning needs is a new fabric. Shade Pro gave us a quote of $450 for the vinyl and $850 for the fabric with the metal top when rolled in. We are still looking for different prices. Our awning is kind of short, only 14ft.
