Fantastic! What fun. We've found our 32bhds to be the perfect fit for our family.

What are you going to tow it with?

Enjoy!

Congratulations

Any chance you’d like to share your PDI checklist with the group? I’m picking up my X23F next Monday and wouldn’t mind seeing what you’ve written?

2003 Excursion V10 4x4. All the springs have been switched to f250 springs and has airbags on the rear.

Have you had any issues with your trailer?

Have you had any issues with your trailer?
We have had issues but it seems that it's finally settled in at this point.
Biggest issue, or theme really, has been plumbing/water leaks. These have all been due to poor parts and or installation. Cold supply to outside kitchen sink presented itself on the maiden voyage with water on the floor in the bunkhouse. Water leaking from water pump under kitchen sink ruined several pieces of the nearby cabinets. Supply to the toilet was the last water leak to date.

I highly recommend that you don't keep the water system pressurized when you are away or overnight while you sleep.

A couple of electrical problems that were solved by my dealer without any heartburn: LED strip under kitchen sink failed and the original battery wouldn't hold a charge for long after the first few trips. I only have one 12v battery but wish I had gone with two 6v instead. You will only get 1 night boondocking with the one 12v battery (running the heater). We get by with the one battery for now as I have a Champion 3100W Inverter generator. This supplies plenty of electrons to the AC even in economy mode.

I've done a few mods and two that I highly recommend are the digital Coleman-Mack thermostat and MagnoliaTom's AC vent taping/sealing of the duct work. We only have one 13.5k AC unit (here in the hot Southern California area) and Tom's awesome mod is da' bomb!

Have you already picked out an WDH/Anti-sway setup? I went with the Husky TS and am quite happy with it.

Congratulations on the purchase! You'll have a bunch of great times in it I'm sure!! Looking forward to your pictures and stories.

All the best,

Jeff

Thank you for your post. I'm leaving soon to go to the dealer and I will now check out the plumbing extra close.

They are setting me up with the Husky TS as well.

WOW! That rig is beautiful!

I am considering a used 2014 32BHDS with fiberglass sides.

My concern is the length.

Did you consider the long length and the challenges of finding RV parks, state parks, etc prior to purchasing?

In terms of space, my 2 teen boys 13, 18, in rear room would love it!!! Love not converting dinette and sofa to beds, having a place for coffee in the morning, kids have their own private place in rear room, etc....solves all of of creature comfort issues and wife is happy.

I'm just concerned about the long overall 36' length and finding places to camp in parks, RV parks, campgrounds, etc.

Those that have these 32' models please share your experiences.

Not trying to take over your post, but I see a few 32BHDS owners who perhaps can comment.
'
I actually have a recent thread on longer units, and their challenges, but did not get the input from actual owners I was looking for.

Thanks!
