New Jay Feather Micro models?

Does anybody have any details on the new Jay Feather Micro series that I think are replacing the Hummingbird line? I have some printouts from my dealer but I'm wondering about build quality and things like that. Anybody seen one yet? Dealer says they should have them in sometime in September.

Here's the quandary though. The dealer is getting in stock of the SLX 224BHW which we've decided was the right model for us, but now I'm wondering if we should wait until the Micros come out and take a look. Specifically we're looking at the Micro 199MBS which has a U shape dinette slide which I think would be a big improvement.

I've attached the printouts I have from the dealer.

Thanks!

A little late response but my wife and I have been batting around the idea of downsizing from our 28bhbe. Looking to take our 3 kids out on some longer adventures and on paper the 199 MB’s hits a lot of check marks. Double bunks, outdoor kitchen, we love our u dinette since all 5 of us can sit. Plus with the Murphy it gives plenty of seating to get out of weather. Plus it list 16inch tires and azdel. I also see 12 volt fridge and tv and solar option. I’m just about sold I just want to know cargo capacity and tank sizes. This might be an all around winner. Did the dealer give you any specs?

We ended up pulling the trigger on a Flagstaff 25BRDS, but I saw that Haylett RV put up some info on the Jay Feather Micros. check out these two videos for some info:

The walkthrough is for one of the smaller models.

We got tired of waiting and we liked the build quality and options on the 25BRDS quite a bit, but I think the 199MBS would have also suited us.

Thanks for the vids and congrats on the flagstaff! The rockwood 2509s is our front runner if we downsize right now but since we won’t be making any moves for a year or so we will see what the 199 Mbs has to offer. A Jayco rep said they are looking to build mid October so that’s when they will have specs. I would love to be in a sub 23 footer. Happy trails with your new rig!

199 mbs

They must be making headway because they just updated the page with specs

https://www.jayco.com/products/trave...-micro/199mbs/

They should begin to arrive by March 2021.

I'm going to keep eyes on this thread. My dealer is going to let me know ASAP when the 199MBS is in stock. They told me as of last week they're 1-2 months out.

Similar layout as the GEO-PRO, we sold many of them. The Jayco Jay-Feather Micro will sell also to the beginning RVers or the ones who tow with SUV's.

Let us know how it worked out for you. I have heard nothing but good vibes from the Micros. Saw the same video that was posted earlier.
