New Jay Flight!!

DW and I are the proud new owners of a 2021 Jay Flight 29rks. We found a super deal and received an excellent trade value on our Feather. Our TV is not ideal, but we'll get along for a while until a 3500 has our name on it. We love our new Jayco!

Thank you!
We will load a couple of pictures soon. We are heading out to install a Winegard 2.0 Connect. We can make the picture upload after we complete the install. That will make a good test run for the Winegard!

We were like two kids on Christmas Eve for a week or more heading up to our departure day. The deal was so solid and the trailer was exactly as we would have ordered it (equipped just right for us); we drove to Northern Ohio from Central Alabama. We had a blast!

Now I will say that I65 and I71 through KY are in horrific condition. I recommend avoiding them in KY if you can. Terrible, terrible roads, tons of bad asphalt! We will find another route should we need or want to go back to Ohio, a beautiful state BTW. We absolutely loved the farm land for hours! We did not know how open and beautiful Ohio is, and the people we met in the rural towns were very fine folks! We can also recommend Town and Country RV in Clyde, OH. They were super through the whole process! May God bless Ohio!

We will give an initial quality report in the coming weeks. DMIL is coming for a visit in two weeks. She gets the master in the house while DW and I will Camp Driveway during her visit. I will hook up the water, power, and sewer. We will give it a solid week run in our port, as I like to call it.

We worked in it all week last week. We're getting a feel for our "office" spaces and what will work best. We are working remotely in it. So far, I have to say, it's looking like a pretty well-made unit. And that's after a terrible ride home through KY. We could not believe the torn up interstates in KY. TN, AL, and OH were all in good to very good condition. We hope KY will get some much needed infrastructure $ for roads. It's a beautiful state, but the interstates need some serious attention!

Good-Bye Chickadee 1

Taking the Jay Feather, aka Chickadee 1, to Ohio as a trade. She was a good little unit.

Before attaching, edit your original photo by making a slight crop. It doesn’t take much, just a slight one. Save the photo, then attach it using the JOF “manage attachments” button like you did.

My wife and I were looking at those last year. We had a 2018 X23B hybrid we bought brand new in Jul 2018. We stopped at a CW in Kaysville UT to get an adjustable water pressure regulator and since they were a Jayco dealer, we asked if they had the 29RKS in stock. Salesman said, no, but we have a similar floorplan in a different brand. I said, thanks but we're interested in the Jayco. My wife pipes up and says "If you want him to look at it you have to ask. He doesn't take hints very well." The salesman and I both turned and looked at her, then he asked me you want to go look at it? I said sure. The salesman told me this unit had just been delivered from the factory 45 minutes earlier, the service department hadn't even yet had time to inspect it for anything that needed attention. 3 hours later, we had made a deal for a 2021 Keystone Cougar 27SABWE. I told the salesman I had 3 conditions for me to take this unit. 1- I want a propane quick connect for my Blackstone on the side of the trailer. No problem. 2- I want a Fantastic Fan in the bathroom. We have those in stock, we just have to charge you for the part. OK 3- I need to pick it up tomorrow. WHAT?!?! This is Thursday. I'm on the last days of my vacation I'm leaving for home Saturday morning whether I'm towing a Jayco or a Keystone, I'm going home. He said wait right here. Came back 15 minutes later and told me the service manager isn't happy with him but to be here at 3PM tomorrow to pick up your new Cougar.

Greetings from Washington State! Congrats on your new rig! We bought our 2016 29REKS Whitehawk new in 2015 and we love it! We bought it with the "Arctic Package" and "Duratane".The rig underneath is almost completely sealed. I pull it with our 5.7 ltr. Tundra. Again, Welcome!

Retiring next year and hoping to get a seasonal in Maine. And hoping for a workkamping position as well. Fingers crossed. Will be spending the summer in Maine in a year if all goes well. This is my retirement on wheels. I had a jayco until I had to upgrade to a bigger trailer. I miss my jayco because now its just me. But I do have a lot more storage space and bunk beds for drop in visitors. Sounds like you saw a lot of Ohio. I love Ohio and it is a beautiful state. Happy trails.
