New Jayco owner

Hey guys. Just pulled the trigger on a 2017 Jay Flight 32TSBH. Upgrading from a 25' TT with no slides. Picking it up next week. Took a long time to make the decision but with three young boys it seemed like the way to go with the dual slide bunkroom. Towing it with a 2015 Silverado 2500 gasser. Not going to be towing through any mountainous terrain so not too worried about the 6.0 capabilities. Weighed my truck today fully packed with the kids and gear today and came in at 7200 lbs so I'm confident in my ability to pull the 32TSBH. My GCWR is 20500. Anwyays, this seems like a great forum share information and what not. And yes, I know the duramax would tow this load much easier than my 6.0 so I don't need to hear it!

I have heard great things about the 6.0 gassers. I am sure your truck will do great pulling the Jay Flight 32TSBH. Congrats and welcome.

Just pulled our 2016 28RLS for the first time this weekend on both interstate and back roads with my 2010 2500HD 6.0 gas.
No problems and I'm happy to not pay for diesel fuel.
Enjoy!

Thanks guys. I'm thinking about taking it on a quick weekend trip right from the dealer parking lot. I'll report back on how it goes. Getting the 12k reese dual cam.

That is the best way to do it. A short trip to sit down and go over every system in the trailer. Go over each system and keep a list of items that need attention. When dealing with water systems, don't expect each one to work. Turn on the faucet, then open up the cabinets and make sure you don't have drips. Don't just hook up the water and walk away for hours. Go over each little aspect. Check your fridge on electric and propane. same for the water heater. wash dishes and look for drips under the sink. Take a shower and do the same. Run the heat, run the AC, run the fans. Check the awnings etc.

Enjoy your new rig.
