New Larger Trailer Better MPG

We recently upgraded our trailer with a larger one. Went from a Connect 24RLK to Jay Feather 27BHB. Three feet longer and approximately 800 pounds heavier. We have been out on 5 local camping trips approximately 700 miles total. Same TV and hitch. We are averaging 2 MPG better with this trailer. My guess is better set up for the hitch and better tires on the trailer. Not complaining just curious why and very happy.

Probably better aerodynamics, how about ride height?

Ride height is the same. I agree it must be the aerodynamics.
