New member w/314BHSD on the way

Hi All!

Just checking-in, long-time camper, just purchased a Eagle 314BHDS which is scheduled for delivery to my site tomorrow morning.

Anything in particular I should look out for during my inspection?

Thanks!
Rob

Congrats!

We just picked up ours last Friday. Same one 314BHDS.

Overall the PDI went very well - we have an issue with the front stairs being slightly tilted to the right. Will be having those replaced under warranty. Otherwise we didn't notice anything. Leaving for a nearby campground tomorrow for a shakedown run will follow up next week with any additional issues.

Thanks and congrats on your purchase as well!

I printed out the PDI inspection check-list, will be sure to go over it well before the camper arrives!

Hopefully we find no issues, we're set-up as a permanent site so taking it anywhere for warranty work will not be pleasant.

Enjoy your holiday!

Congrats on the Eagle! Maybe film (with your phone) the inspection. Just in case you have questions later.

Happy Camping!

Well, spent two weekends in the new coach so far, very nice upgrade from our old 97' Eagle 314BHS.

I did find two issues so far.

1. valves going to the tub were leaking, fixed that up!
2. LED awning lights are bright for about 1-2 minutes then dim to 50%, not sure what the problem is.

Overall we're very happy campers!

I'll be starting to build the new deck this coming weekend.

I would be happy if my LED's under the awning stayed at 50%. Way too bright in my opinion when you are trying to relax with a fire at night.

I hear ya, I may just deal with it because when you first turn them on they're extremely bright!

I don't know if you checklist includes charging the water system, but I' suggest that.
