New owner of a used 2007 Jayco Jayflight JTX 19 and hoping to learn from all of you.

Hello,

We just bought a used 2007 Jayco Jayflight JTX 19 and hoping to learn from all of you. Lots to learn.

First Question:

1.We can't figure out what the BTU is on the air conditioner. The reason we are trying to do that is to figure out what generator to buy. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
JW

This may not give you an exact answer but it might help decipher what kind of options you have and determine if it's a 13,500 or 15,000.

Not familiar with your new to you TT. If it is a roof top AC it will be as Doc Brown stated. A wall mounted unit could be lower.

If it is a roof top unit, pull the inside cover and you should be able to find the model number.

Also it is good to clean the foam return air filters regularly.

More than likely 13500 btu...my Jayco X213 has a 13,5000 btu Coleman AC unit. I installed a hard start capacitor to reduce the start up load of the compressor. I use a Champion 3100 watt inverter generator
