New owner or White Hawk 28dsbh
We finally pulled the trigger on our 1st trailer with the White Hawk and we love it. We have been out 1 time so far and had no issues. Our TV is a 06 nissan armada that pulled it like it was not there. We could not be any happier with our choice. The one quetion I do have is..has anyone installed shower doors on the tub. The water runs off the side and onto the floor like a lot of other posts i have read. I was going to install a rubber **** across the front to stop the water, but tought i would ask about the doors first

Welcome to the forum, i have to agree i love my Whitehawk. i am going to follow this hopefully someone has a great idea. Being a big fan of velcro, i was going to have my DW sew strips to the shower curtain in 3 different areas on both sides and see if that will keep the curtain in place. i would have tried suction cups but they dont stick to the walls.

Wanted to bump this thread to see if anyone has come up with any solutions. A shower door would be nice rather than that curtain. Our 2013 28DSBH is on order. Maybe this could be my 1st mod.

I was looking at the one from CW online but hard to tell the quality. Stopped at the local CW and they did not have one in the store to look at. I still have not done anything with mine yet. The pleated door seems like it would be a good idea if it works and does not get moldy and start to smell after getting wet.

You've probably read this from other threads before but...
I find that when we level the RV and then open the slide, it puts extra weight on the slide side which is on the same side as the tub. and keeps the water in the tub.
If I am too level or worst, a little low on the passenger side of the RV, the water leaks out a bit from the side of the tub onto the floor. I may get a shower splash guard or cut a piece of clear acrylic and seal it with clear silicone.

Congratulations! I just closed the deal on my White Hawk 28DSBH, too. Look forward to hearing how you make out on the shower.

Congrats to all of you on your new Whitehawks. Very nice trailer imo... I can't say I've had to much water build up on the floor after a shower. I do like the idea mentioned above about using some velco strips. Should help keep the curtain closed better.
Do check your water / drain lines under the sinks after traveling with the trailer. Our straight pipe under the kitchen sink came loose. Just caught that before we did the dishes.
Enjoy your new trailers.

I've also just purchased a 28DSBH, delivery at the beginning of April. I'm really impressed with how much quality manufacturers can cram into an ultralight RV nowadays.
I've already got two of the first three trips planned: May long weekend at a local Provincial Park; July in Osoyoos. Not sure where to go for my first shake-out trip yet.
This will be my 2nd RV, the first being a large tent trailer, and this unit's only a couple grand heavier than the TT.
I've taken a gamble on the Blue Ox SwayPro WD Hitch and I'll be sure to write about my experiences with that piece of hardware after I've got a few trips under my belt. And what a piece of hardware it is! It's a monster when compared next to the Equal-i-zer and the price was almost the same.
