Hello to you and welcome to the forum.

Yup. The mattresses have been a sore point for mamy.

Under warranty, some have gotten cash instead of having the mattress replaced. Our dealer reinforced the sagging bed platform, but they did nothing about the mattress. We had a memory foam mattress topper and put that on the mattress. That made the bed ok.

Well we're at the end of August and like the first mattress this one is sagging as well. We have a memory foam on it as well but the sag is still noticeable.

The mattress tends to leave indentations soon after you use it, I had to purchase a memory foam topper which is a huge improvement, I found one at Costco its a full size its not perfect there is a little gap but I thought the queen would not have fit. This one fits head to foot perfect but not side to side perfect. I hope this helps.

Last month, we had the mattress (in our Jayco Eagle), with the large blue/black banner with "Simmons, Residential Sleep System by Jayco" stitched on the lower right corner (mattress was light silver in color), replaced with a different model Simmons mattress under warranty. The replacement was light beige in color and as far as I could tell had no model designator imprinted on it. It's a bit more firm than the previous OEM mattress---maybe too firm. We'll see how it goes when we hit the road a in a few weeks.

Maybe they went ebven cheaper in 2018 because we tried our 2018 324BHTS for about 10 nights and the hard as a rock mattress was killing us.

We had a Dynasty Cool Gel from Amazon in our 01' trailer so ordered one for this trailer and when I pulled the old mattress off, it really isn't even a mattress...unzip the cover and it was a hodge podge of foam. I cut it in half and threw it in my buddies dumpster. The $350 for the Dynasty is well worth it!

The jayco mattresses are so bad, they should allow the buyer to leave it at the dealer rather than pay the dump fee when you get home from your first trip. It’s the ONLY complaint I have in our 2017 291rstl.
