New to Forum, but not to Jayco
Hello from Texas!
We ordered a new Whitehawk 24RKS just before the plant shut down for the holidays. TT is scheduled to arrive the last week of Feb. This will be our 5th Jayco trailer, although it has been several years since we sold our last one. We've followed the cycle that I'm sure many of you have done as well: tent, pop-up, hybrid, full-size trailer, 5th wheel (all Jayco). For the new TT we wanted something small, light, easy to pull, set-up, take down, etc. Our youngest is a freshman in college and playing baseball, so our thought was let's follow him around on the weekends with a TT instead of paying for hotels. To say the least, we are really excited about the new TT. I've been a lurker on the site for a couple of months. So much great info to be gleaned from the site and its members. Hope that I can be a contributor as well, but for now, have lots of "newbie" type questions.
First question: I want to buy a lug wrench in case I ever have to change a tire, but not sure of the lug nut size. After downloading the manual from Jayco's site, it appears the bolts are 1/2". Can someone tell me the lug nut size or wrench size?

Welcome to the forum. Not sure off hand what the lug size is but I carry a 4 way lug wrench to cover all bases.

Welcome sq490 and your change from lurker to participant. If you haven't already, use the 'search' function. Hours of interesting reading in there.

Welcome aboard sq490! My lugs on our White hawk are 13/16. Hope that helps.

I carry a 1/2" drive breaker bar and appropriate size socket. Takes up less room than a 4-way lug wrench. Also found out when going to the present unit that the lug nuts aren't the same size, so had to change socket size. Hopefully won't have to use it, but odds are…...

Welcome to the forum sq490! Can't help on the lug nut size as our new Jayco is on order too. We'll be carrying a 4 way lug wrench like Crabman uses once we hit the road. Happy Camping!

Welcome! Like rryman I carry a break bar and appropriate socket. Socket is either a 3/4 or 13/16, but no way to confirm which without digging through a snow drift.

Since I tow a boat trailer, a crab pot trailer, the Jayco, and a Boy Scout utility trailer the 4 way makes the most sense for me....

I carry a breaker bar and a torque wrench in the tool space under my back seat.
Lug nuts on my WH are 3/4".
